Probate Fees for Mansfield

Probate Record Types in Mansfield

Independent administration under Chapter 257 gives the executor power to manage the estate without much court oversight. This is how most Texas estates work. Heirship cases under Chapter 304 happen when there is no will. The court must identify the legal heirs.

Small estate affidavits for estates under $75,000 are an option under Section 205. Guardianship cases, mental health filings, and wills deposited for safekeeping also go through the Tarrant County probate courts.
